Revoking temporary RDS licenses
I'm running Remote Desktop Services in a Windows Server 2012.
Have you ever had a problem with a client in your lab and you wanted to revoke the temporary license that was issued to it but you couldn't because it was greyed out!?
Well there is a workaround. But it will remove all licenses. It's not an issue for me as they will be reissued.
Go to the Services Manager, services.msc and stop the Remote Desktop Licensing service.
Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\LServer and delete all the files from there.
Now in the client delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing (This step is not always required).
